Are you familiar with this situation: You’re on your way to an English lesson and once again catch yourself feeling like you are going to war? This is due to the fact that your lessons have revolved around the language, and not around you – your needs and how you want to use the language. Sooner or later you will realize the futility of this vicious circle.
At Studio LEXICON, mastering the English language begins with a verbal interconnection between the student and the teacher. We do everything to ensure that our students have a pleasurable experience while learning the language. Our results are achieved by: (1) the use of motivational techniques through developing a course curriculum that focuses on the goals and specific interest of each individual student, and (2) the cultural and language immersion that occurs when communicating with educated native speakers.

At Studio LEXICON, we regularly evaluate students in order to track their English learning progress. In addition to testing, the learning process is organized in modules of 20-30 sessions, after which each student writes a review of his experience. Both the test results and the reviews affect not only the future content of the lessons, but also can lead to modifications in the curriculum or, in some cases, additional expertise, i.e., alternating sessions between two or more teachers.

This family of General English Courses provides any existing level of English the ability to increase and move forward regardless of the student’s ultimate goal. Objectives include: Identifying the student’s current level (from A1 to C2), determining and focusing on the student’s reason for learning English, systematically build on all areas of reading, writing, listening, speaking and vocabulary, and strengthening any individual weaknesses that expose themselves. Our goal is for the student to evenly progress to the next level within a reasonable amount of time through a demanding, rigorous and structured environment. This family of General Business English Courses at LEXICON Studio supplements any Intermediate level or higher level of English with a Business vantage point. This family of English Test Preparation Courses covers a broad spectrum of categories designed specifically for American, British and Russian requirements, whether one seeks to obtain registration in a professional organization, study at a university at an undergraduate or postgraduate level, or plans on becoming a permanent resident of an English speaking country such as the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
LEXICON prepares students for both American tests (TOEFL, TOEIC) and British tests (IELTS, BEC) including Cambridge tests (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE). In addition, we prepare students for the Russian state exams such as EGE and GIA in English.

IELTS is one of the most frequently required English proficiency tests designed in the UK. The objective of English LEXICON is to develop your English language skills so you may receive a minimum of 6 out of 9 bands.

TOEFL is an American equivalent of IELTS. At LEXICON, we aim to prepare our students to secure a minimum 100 points out of a possible 120, which is commonly required for admission into prestigious educational institutions in the US and around the world.

The function of these expertly developed courses is to provide teenage students with the best tools to achieve the scores necessary to make their academic dreams come true as they seek acceptance into an undergraduate program or senior grades of high school. LEXICON prepares for such tests as SAT, ACT, GSCE, SSAT, ISEE, GED.
Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), for example, is the American equivalent of the Russian Universal State Exam (EGE) or British General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). As the names suggest, these tests measure the caliber of the student and the knowledge gained during their years in school. At LEXICON we train our students for these tests as our students prepare to apply to various schools in Russia and abroad

LEXICON offers its students the SAT preparation course. The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) is a required reasoning test by many universities in the United States that expresses the caliber of the student and the knowledge gained during their years in school. This test is considered one of the most important elements in the application process into undergraduate programs by many universities and is one of the determining factors in either accepting or rejecting an applicant. The SAT is comprised of three sections: Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing. The questions come in different formats such as multiple choice, grid-in math problems, scatter plots, and a short essay. For each section, one can earn 200 to 800 points.

This unique course has been specifically designed by LEXICON Studio for students in middle and high school. By enrolling in this course, a student will receive world-class tutoring from a native speaker who is an expert of the GSCE English exam. The pupil will learn the cultural and vocabulary skills needed to understand and ultimately pass the GSCE exam with a score high enough to advance to the A-Level of the English language. Setting the foundation for the A-Level now, would vastly increase the speed at which the student’s English language level develops and would greatly assist them in being admitted to an international university after graduating high school.

GMAT (The Graduate Management Admission Test) is a professional test LEXICON often prepares clients for before they enter an MBA program. The test evaluates an individual’s skills required for admission into a Graduate Program. This exam is used in 83 countries by more than 1,500 learning institutions for over 5,400 graduate programs. There are four parts to this test: Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal. Our instructors prepare students for all four sections.
